I have seen salespeople attempt to keep multiple calendars for business and personal, and I find it does not work.

Pick a calendar system in digital or physical form (e.g., a notebook planner), and stick to it. Most digital calendars sync seamlessly with your mobile device to help you track appointments and tasks.

That way, you can consistently monitor how you are balancing your free time and work time and make sure you are giving yourself the time you need to recharge.
